Since 1921, Maison Collet has been crafting characterful champagnes with the aim of satisfying a discerning clientele seeking authenticity, elegance, and finesse in their champagnes. Based in Aÿ at the heart of the Champagne region, Maison Collet relies primarily on sourcing from Premier and Grand Cru vineyards, reflecting the diversity of Champagne terroirs. Champagne Collet is a high gastronomy wine, and each cuvée has been developed to perfectly complement all occasions, from aperitifs to the finest dishes.

In 1911, the Champagne Revolt broke out, with 6,000 vine growers coming together to ensure the origin of Champagne grapes in the production of champagne. The village of Aÿ actively participated in this revolt, and the homes of the suspected individuals were set on fire, becoming a symbol of this social movement. Over 40,000 government troops were dispatched to the region to contain the riots. On February 11, 1911, the first law was ratified, requiring the label to bear the inscription 'Wines originating from Viticultural Champagne,' which eventually led, through several successive laws, to the establishment of the Champagne AOC (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée) in 1936.
